Abstract:
Well over 100 High Maturity (Level 4 and Level 5) CMMI Appraisals have been conducted in multiple organizations. However, many organizations and members have not completely understood the requirements of the model with respect to the Maturity Level 4 and 5 process areas of CMMI v1.2 (viz. OPP, QPM, OID and CAR). The purpose of this presentation is to facilitate understanding and interpretation of high maturity concepts and enable a suitable implementation within an organization.

This presentation would discuss not only the process area requirements for each specific practice, but also delve into terms, concepts, tools. Relationship among and within process areas are also elaborated. Foundational aspects from lower maturity levels would also be covered.
