Abstract:
This session will take the mystery out of Earned Value Management. If you want to improve your ability to predict your estimate at completion, you need to follow some fundamental principles when building your project plan and schedule. This seminar focuses on the key concepts you need to know such as: Building a Work Breakdown Structure and WBS Dictionary, linking your WBS to your schedule, interpreting S-curves, and pulling key metrics out of this process.

About the Presenter
Rose Blackburn is one of the founding partners and the CEO of QuantumPM, LLC. Rose earned a Masters degree in Technology Management from the University of Denver. She also received a Masters certificate in Program Management from the University of Denver. She has held the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute for over 10 years.

Prior to establishing QuantumPM, LLC, Rose was the director of Portfolio Management for MediaOne. Her career includes over fifteen years of experience in large-scale project and multi-project (program) management in information technologies for the telecommunications industry within both the US and international markets.
